Help with Playlist Forge — and how to reach us.

Playlist Forge lets you build playlists on Apple Music, share them with a community, and discover playlists from other people. Here are the common questions. If something isn't covered, email us and we'll help.

Getting started

Open the Profile tab and Connect Apple Music (an active Apple Music subscription is required to build and save playlists).
Sign in with Apple to post playlists, comment, follow, vote, and host challenges.

Building a playlist

Go to Create, search an artist, and choose Just this artist or Artist + similar.
Pick Hits or Deep cuts, set the length and an optional release-year range, then Build preview.
Tap Save to Apple Music to add it to your library.

Discover & community

Browse and search playlists in Discover, add any to your library, like, comment, and follow curators.
Community playlists let anyone add songs; some have thumbs-up/down song voting.

Challenges & Boost (in-app purchases)

Host a Challenge and Boost are optional one-time purchases (consumables) — you buy them each time you use them, so there's nothing to "restore."
Boost pins one of your playlists to the top of Discover for 24 hours.
Host a Challenge starts a themed challenge others can enter and vote on.
Purchases are handled by Apple. For refunds, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com.

Reporting, blocking & safety

Report any playlist from its menu (the “…” button).
Block a user from their profile to hide their playlists and comments from you.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in the app: Profile → Delete account. You may also email us to request deletion.
